Geoff Mack

Geoff 'Tangletongue' Mack has been touring Australia as a Country comedian and singer for many years. He wrote the song I've Been Everywhere which became a chart-topper for Lucky Starr in the sixties, and spawned many alternate versions, including the U.S. hit for Hank Snow. It was recently covered by Johnny Cash.

13 June 2005: Geoff Mack OAM ! Mr Albert Geoffrey McELHINNEY awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for service to country music and to the community, particularly through support for senior citizens groups.
